fileids[edit]
This api takes fileids as parameter to restore an File page, but I do not see any api which can return the fileid of an existing media uploaded. Can we add it to the help page? --Sreejithk2000 (talk) 05:42, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Sreejithk2000, Does this API query provide the revision ID that you need: commons:Special:ApiSandbox#action=query&format=json&prop=revisions&titles=File:Human_evolution_scheme.svg&formatversion=2&rvlimit=10? APaskulin (WMF) (talk) 23:53, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
