I have edited Help:Extension:Linter/obsolete-tag, but I don't know translate markup. It would be great if you would fix the translate markup again. Also, if there is a reference for how to use translate markup, please let me know where it is.

I've done it. That page was a bit tricky to be marked for translation.

There is some resources, including how to mark a page for translation but it will not cover a case like yours.
