Great thanks for confirming. "can you point me toward a discussion somewhere to demonstrate a need?" and also my comment which stated that other language variants are very inactive "Leaving a comment here to poke the mailing list request, the only other language variant of the mediawiki- mailing list that I can see is mediawiki-sv and from the list archives, http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/mediawiki-sv/, you can see that it is a very inactive list."

Hello, I noticed this. I understand the problem. I think we need a template which automatically adds the proper language-subpage category to each page, taking the language code from the subpage title. There's been an attempt at wm2012:Template:AddLanguageCategory, but it didn't look very robust last time I looked at it (see also talk). I hope you can find a solution!

Witam. Fajnie, że zajmujesz się tłumaczeniami jednak mam kilka uwag...
- jeśli tłumaczysz treść danej strony to staraj się to robić od początku do końca, a nie w międzyczasie zaczynać jeszcze 3-4 strony
- robisz wiele błędów i literówek, proszę sprawdzaj pisownię przed zapisaniem tekstu (przykładowo przeglądarka Mozilla Firefox ma słownik)
- staraj się tworzyć linki do polskich artykułów, bo linkujesz z polskich stron na angielskie
- tutaj przykład poprawek

- Witam. Mam jednak prośbę o to, żebyś nie tworzył nowych stron dopóki nie przetłumaczysz/poprawisz tych co zrobiłeś wcześniej. Tworzenie takich duplikatów, gdzie więcej tekstu jest po angielsku niż po polsku nie ma najmniejszego sensu, a wręcz jest szkodliwe, ponieważ MediaWiki cały czas się zmienia, a wraz z nią dokumentacja, więc jeśli nie dokończysz tłumaczenia to wkrótce będziemy mieli dokumentację nie dość, że po angielsku, to jeszcze nieaktualną. Jeśli chcesz popracować nad tłumaczeniem, to zakładaj strony we własnej przestrzeni nazw (User:Woytecr/xxx), wtedy będzie wiadomo, że strona jest niegotowa i nie nadaje się do przeglądania. pozdrawiam Beau (talk) 17:17, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
