How to enable h.264 locally ?

Did not use H264 support locally for some time, looks like it needed a small fix to work with latest master, patch is in gerrit for review and should land soon. (you can apply this locally to get it working, https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/53392/) JanGerber (talk) 15:48, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Great !

It works now also on Safari and on iPad : )

But strangely on Firefox it still doesn't show the mp4 or h.264 in the list of available formats.

Never mind, the most important is that it works in at least one format (actually webm and ogv).
