Looking forward to watching your development![edit]

Hi, Akshay -- I'm very interested in the development of a conference extension from the user side. I've planned more conferences and hackathons than I can remember using Mediawiki as an organization tool (Jams and hackfests for the One Laptop Per Child project, FUDCons for Fedora, and now academic conference representation for the Teaching Open Source community). Any features that can be added to make my life easier would be... wonderful. I'm not a Mediawiki developer (although I do have a software engineering background), but I'd be happy to give feedback, test out the extension, chat about what design decisions would be helpful for my situation, show you what I've already done, etc.

If this sounds potentially helpful, the best way to get in touch with me is email, which you can find at my webpage, and I also try to be on IRC (freenode) as mchua -- look for me in the #teachingopensource channel if you don't find me in the mediawiki ones.

Good luck! I look forward to watching your work evolve over the summer!

Hello Mel,
I m really sorry for replying you so late but somehow I wasnt notified of any changes made on this page. The very part that excited me from the very beginning about this project was its client side that an admin would be interacting with. So considering what you have written above I think I would really like to get in touch with you for discussing out any details that you would want to share with me regarding this project.
Looking forward to making this extension even better with all your feedback.
