No, Maintenance.php is the new framework on which maintenance scripts will be written. This is core Mediawiki, not an extension. ^demon 02:46, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Perspective for extensions?

Is there any perspective for Maintenance and MaintenanceShell ? --almaghi 17:58, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Not right now. My major goal with this is to have a sane maintenance environment where no sanity currently exists. From there, it should be a lot easier to write/maintain an extension to interface with the maintenance scripts (which were and continue to be written for command line use primarily, lest anyone forget this). ^demon 18:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
