My current full-time project is implemented using MediaWiki and a custom FastCGI application, and is cross platform under Windows and Ubuntu linux. It includes the SocialProfile extension as of this writing, and I'll add the OpenID extension soon.

I could publish a general purpose skeleton of my FastCGI wrapper extension, please let me know if you're interested.

My project will begin its public Beta in late 2009; current estimates predict a 4th quarter release.
