I have been an editor on English Wikipedia since August 2004, and an admin since February 2006. I also contribute photographs, maps, and other graphics to Wikimedia Commons, and help out there as an admin. As well, I have edited some on the Arabic Wikipedia, and have made minor contributions to the Spanish Wikipedia. More recently am involved with MediaWiki development.

I'm a long time Wikipedian and GIS developer. I am working on a MediaWiki extension that allows embedding OpenStreetMap and other types of maps into wiki pages, among other capabilities including geocoding pages.
