Hi! I'm Alison
Hi there. I'm Alison. You may know me from the English or Irish wikipedias.
My primary reason for being over here is to work on updating the MediaWiki localisation data for both Irish and Scottish Gaelic wikis. I'm primarily focussing on wiktionary but should also feed back in the local wiki updates into SubVersion here. This will prevent a lot of repetition across wikis as each message string needs to be updated across all wikis. Furthermore, so many more fields have been recently added to MediaWiki since the last real update & all these are defaulting to English right now.
I'm an administrator on the English Wikipedia and a volunteer on the OTRS team, so if you need help with anything, just ask!
I'm also administrator on both the Irish Gaelic and Scots Gaelic Wiktionaries. Please come over and help me!
