Hello, first time trying VisualEditor, thanks a lot for your effort. in napwiki we use a lot of double appostrophes (as modern-authors in nap usually write... e.g. the famous song: Chist'è 'o paese d''o sole) that makes a contraction of what in arcaic+non directly neapolitan would be de lu--> d''o (as one example).

I was used to write the & # 39 ;' stuff. but when looking at my own try with the Visual Editor output I see you implemented nowikis for those exceptions.

Question is: have you ever considered putting & # 39 ;' instead of detecting and implementing a nowiki area? what do you think about it?

Thanks a lot.--C.R. (talk) 23:40, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi there! It's weird that this wasn't noticed before at nap.wp. I'll investigate and we can keep talking about this at the Circulo as well. Thanks,

Sorry because I was aware of that opportunity for improvement and never reported. You can take a look my message at our Circulo in napwiki, I'll make some more diffs. Thanks again! - To be precise for the information of the developing team, double apostrophes can also appear in the title of the article (e.g. nap:Cità d''o Vaticano). Since I'm not using VE every day I pass over this trap by putting & # 3 9 ;' as a routine. I wanted to know your opinion.

More details & trials in napwiki's Circulo. Regards & thanks.
