Editor right

Hi, MaxSem.
As a current member of the SWMT, I'm always involved with cross-wiki countervandalism work and I'm used to revert some vandalisms here. Also, I often access mediawiki.org and I guess having editor (reviewer? - what's the difference here?) permission would be quite useful in order to help with pending edits.
How can I obtain this right?

Hi, I wrote in bold red on the top of this page that "All requests for user rights should go to Project:Requests".
