I mean, are you an acting representative of your organization? What I'm talking about here is a conflict of interest, which however is far less important on this website than Wikipedia. Still, it's a good idea to declare that (which you have, good job!) and listen to other editors' input. Thanks for your cooperation, and have a good time developing!

Side note: Watch MediaWiki's versions for any updates that could break your extension ;). Also, don't be afraid from making factual corrections! (as long as you don't insert too much language that would be promotional)

Thank you for your explanation.

Should we add our extension to MediaWiki GIT? Will it more useful for site owners based on MediaWiki? Or will it provide us benefits?

Best regards, Maxim Vladykin KeyCAPTCHA

Yeah, add it to Git, because:

  1. It may provide an easier download access via Special:ExtensionDistributor
  2. MediaWiki developers are more likely to monitor extensions stored in Git
  3. Site owners find it easier to download versions specific to their version of MediaWiki as an alternate to a development version

You already have a Labsconsole account, so you shouldn't have much trouble doing this.

Hello Jasper,

I have read a lot of documents for developers on your website. But I couldn't find any clear step by step instructions on how to add our extension to Git. I would appreciate if you would send me a link to the instructions.

Thanks in advance, Maxim Vladykin KeyCAPTCHA

Git/New repositories is what you're looking for. Cheers.

Thank you a lot

Don't forget to add a Git download link to the extension page if it's not available in Special:ExtensionDistributor.

Hello Jasper,

You added to our description "KeyCAPTCHA is implemented as either an HTML5 or Flash object. Choose the option that best fits your intended userbase."

But KeyCAPTCHA detects the mode automatically.

As long as you're not adding promotional stuff it should be fine to change things like that.

I think I've fixed that particular text a bit, but please feel free to improve it.
