Topic on Project:Support desk

Basically no javascript is working on my wiki, and what works and doesn't work seem to change almost daily. At one point everything worked and after that point I didn't change anything. Then things broke one at a time. Sometimes even the patrol AJAX trick where it doesn't open a new window isn't working. I really have no idea what's going on or how to fix it. I've done all the usual things, tried clearing my cache, did a hard refresh, used different browsers, etc. Nothing! The only lead I have to go on is I've used FireBug and it's returned an Error: Unknown Dependency: JSON on all pages. I'm not sure what this means however.

The CentralNotice extension seems to require a "json" module that's not present on your wiki. Since your wiki doesn't seem to be part of a wiki farm, it probably doesn't make sense to have that extension, so simply disable it.

Yes, that was the problem. Thank you for helping me track that down. I feel compelled to point out that I didn't install that, it was someone else, I swear! Everything I even think about installing works perfectly all the time.
