How to remove ns name from page title?

Is there a way how to do so? I have already tested Extension:HideNamespace and Extension:Editheader - both seems not to work. The problem is, that ns name is not in span in H1 title of the page, thus only way to hide it completely and replace it by another h1 edited in wikitext. But this takes problems with browser interpretations of such rule (i.e. IE).
