Is there a way I can only allow users to add comments through the LT?

This is more of a generic problem, I believe. I'd like to extend this thread to understand if there's any way to limit access for any action in LQT. The extension should do a "UserCan" for all actions - otherwise, this has become (from personal experience) a free and open spam/vandal tool. I've had to remove it from my wikis.
