Hello fellow Mediawiki-ers,

First I'd like to say I think this is a great idea. My past job was working on EcoliWiki and GONUTS in the Biochemistry/Biophysics department at Texas A&M University. We used the wikis a lot as academic hubs as well as educational resources. I spent a number of years working directly on tools and extensions for MW in an academic setting, and have a fair bit of experience with this. I'd love to help out with the development however I can, although I'm quite busy with my fulltime job. I'd also love to advise on this project if the need arises.
