Talk:Mobile browser testing
Editing a page or section that spans more than a few lines is impossible due to the lack of a scrollbar within the edit form textbox (a limitation of the Safari Mobile browser due to the inherent design feature "pinch in" and "pinch out", and the "flick to scroll" feature of the browser display screen).Editing a page or section that spans more than a few lines is difficult, but not impossible. Scrolling within a textbox can be done with three fingers. --84.170.156.59 18:51, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Mobile Safari edit scroll bug
I've found that when scrolling in the edit box on mobile safari (iPad, iPod touch and iPhone) with 2 finger scrolling, the page will jump to the top left corner. This makes it very uncomfortable to edit pages on iOS devices.

[edit] Mobile browser testing specific to Wikimedia projects
People interested in this page may also be interested in meta:Mobile Projects/Browsers support status. Right now it is a stub but the idea is to create a table to check the tests of Wikimedia mobile sites against different browsers. All of you are invited to join and get involved in meta:Mobile Projects.--Qgil 15:47, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Automatic Redirect to some external site when run in a mobile browser
1) I have a website, when it is opened in a desktop browser, It opens normally, but when it is opened in a mobile browser like of iphone or operamini, it automatically redirects to en.m.wikipedia.org. I need urgent help. 2) : Same - urgently looking for a fix for this one. I further note that this behaviour (for me) appears to have started with v 1.16 and beyond. An installation of 1.15.1 on the same domain works as it should.
3) Have the exact same problem!! Any fixes ?
