Purpose of this page[edit]
It does not cover what compression is, and shall contain links to wikipedia articles for said software.
basically, This is Compression as it relates to mediawiki.
Where the content came from[edit]
This page content was ripped from an administration guide. This software is required for mediawiki's use, and shall be a "compression with regards to wikimedia's projects" page.
Reason why it was placed here[edit]
The main portion of this content is superfolous to the administration guide that it was in -- it just wastes paper for most users, it is valuable information though.
Future hopes[edit]
if this page, or a portion of this page, can be embeded into the administration guide in a "verbose mode" then I would like that very much. AaronPeterson 02:51, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Is that for HTML only? I don't see ResourceLoader JS/CSS compressed in several wikis. --Nemo 06:54, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
