[edit] Who is allowed to translate?

Hey, I have a question. I recently noticed that many existing pages in English do not have a German translation. As a native speaker of German, I would love to translate them. My English is not perfect, but good enough to translate these pages. Furthermore, I have worked in some wikis (sry, but privacy means a lot to me) and understanf a lot of this text. So, I am asking now: Am I allowed to do this? Do I need to do anything or are there any things that I have to be able to?--The Evil IP address 03:08, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead and translate :) -- just be sure to follow the language policy. --Skizzerz 03:45, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for answering, I'm gonna translate them within the next days if I'm fast enough.--The Evil IP address 15:35, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Can we have a danish translation?

I van se that there dont are a danish translation. Is it possible that we can have a danish translation?

[edit] Tagalog would be interesting

II have many friends in the Philippines, a country with more than 80 mill. inhabitants of which most speak Tagalog (Filipino). I am sure that MediaWiki is already in use there and more will follow.

Therefore a Tagalog translation project would be of great interest. I myself cannot drive this project but I might search for skilled candidates if you are interested.
