I've edited this page to bring it into line with recent versions of Slackware.

Added the recursive chown for /var/lib/mysql, as shown in Goblin's instructions: http://connie.slackware.com/~mrgoblin/slackware-lamp3.php. Mysqld simply dies immediately without it, as of Slack 13.1. Pyrocatch 03:32, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
