Any user names refer to users of that site, who are not necessarily users of MediaWiki.org (even if they share the same username).
Shouldn't this text be merged with Documentation:Configuration? I can not see the difference in aim. --Katya 14:54, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

I have installed these, but there is an issue. For some unknown reason the "<math>" tags go uninterpreted, ergo completely ignored and unparsed.
Why? Why? Why? How is this to be fixed? Is this a common problem? Are there any debugging tips for mediawiki?

I realized my error. In "/LocalSettings.php" the following line must be uncommented:
# $wgUseTeX = true;
Either I am loosing my eyesight for "#" signs or I am really impatient.

Running MediaWiki 1.4.13 and am having a problem with external links showing their destination afterward. Is there a switch that turns this off, and if so, what is it?
It says I have successfully installed MediaWiki, but when I go to the location, I receive this error:
Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/shadowshq.org/httpdocs/shadowpedia/includes/Preprocessor_DOM.php on line 566
I do not know how to proceed with this.
