此页面包含关于如何创建一个 MediaWiki 皮肤的指示说明。

注意：这里将用 FooBar 这一占位符作为新创建的皮肤的名称。（注意在不同的上下文中分别应用了大写的 FooBar 和小写的 FooBar ）

注意：这里有一些更为常规的演练在元维基上.

所有的皮肤文件都位于 MediaWiki 安装目录的 skins 子文件夹中。

对于每个皮肤，在此文件夹中都有两个文件：

FooBar.php：主文件，对页面的布局做出了定义。
FooBar.deps.php：针对 PHP 5 中在 APC 编码缓存的一个 bug 的暂时解决措施。

应创建与皮肤名称相同的子文件夹来放置所有其它的文件，例如：

skins/foobar/main.css： FooBar 的主样式表
skins/foobar/IE60Fixes.css: 对特定浏览器的样式表修正
