В этой статье описывается, как сделать скин для MediaWiki.

Замечание: В качестве имени скина мы примем FooBar. (Обратите внимание на использование FooBar с заглавными буквами и foobar без них в различном контексте.)

[edit] Расположение файлов

Все файлы скина расположены в подпапке skins каталога установки MediaWiki.

Для каждого скина в этой папке создаются два файла:

FooBar.php — основной файл, определяющий расположение элементов на странице,
FooBar.deps.php — обход ошибки в кэше APC opcode в PHP 5.

Для всех остальных файлов нужно создать подпапку с именем скина, например:

skins/foobar/main.css: основная таблица стилей скина FooBar,
skins/foobar/IE60Fixes.css: стилевые хаки для определённых браузеров.
