Name of this extension?[edit]
Sorry, is the name of this extension "MetavidWiki", "metavidWiki", "Metavid MediaWiki", "Metavid" or "metavid"? I see all five names on the extension page. I think it's worth picking one and renaming everything to that (well, changing the logo would be hard, but everything else.) Yaron Koren 23:29, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- By judging all I have seen I am pretty sure that the intended name is "MetaVidWiki". Thus I have just changed the name on the page. Still I am a bit reluctant to move the page since I not definitely sure. --kgh 23:03, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
What's the development status of this extension[edit]
I'm desperately looking forward to a more production stable version of MetaVidWiki or rather the implementation of the Kaltura Community edition into MediaWiki. Only the moment I can't see to much development activity. This poses a lot of questions like:
- Will the extension be bound to MetaVid or will I be able to host videos myself?
- Will the documentation improve?
- I don't have access to the root of my server, I can't install annodex. Will there be a workaround?
etc...
- It appears that metavid.org no longer exists. Perhaps this extension should be deprecated.
