Rather stupid thing - it uncovers your email and doesn't really provide anything.

You can just use hash of your email to insert gravatar as a simple image.

And this thing even requires dependencies. Awfully stupid. --Jehy 15:09, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

How it can be useful

If you use not user emails, but their logins.

For example, looking, like this: <gravatar username="Jldupont" size="32">
