Added support for other formats for downloading example files and embedded examples..[edit]

Is there a way to support other formats like zip or custom formats for download. We would like to support these formats for download but don't understand how. This is for our Clickwiki.--Joewski 00:46, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also we have a embedded format called ccn that requires some Html tags to display. Is it possible to create a template to display these files. Its relatively easy on a normal Http page, I was wondering what it would involve allowing the format for upload and surrounding the title with http? --Joewski 00:46, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

WMV[edit]

Is there a way to use the flash (like video.google.com) to show WMV (Windows Media Video) files ? --Iubito 16:41, 5 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

not without converting the file: that can be done with ffmpeg, riva encoder is a user friendly windows version of flv converter based on ffmpeg: --Mdale

Plugin Options[edit]

And what about Opera for Windows, MacOS and *nix? --Shtriter 04:02, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

What about JavaScript?[edit]

Del.icio.us has a player for their MP3 bookmarks, so why don't the WikiMedia projects have a player for the Ogg Vorbis (sound) files? --Toussaint 22:55, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sounds sophisticated but poorly written[edit]

Reading over this article I keep thinking: this can be better written. The article sounds sophisticated because of the techno-babble but is poorly written. I rewrote the first paragraph, but since it is appreciated I won't go further.Adamtheclown 16:13, 24 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
