I'm can't make modification in the code, it's not in my knowledge. Can you create a new extension name "External Board Vote" which use the same system, but without a third-party server, by use the same table as the mediawiki for exemple ? Can there be an example vote on the BoardVote page? Just to get a feel for what it would look like, etc.
