Extension:TemplateAdventures/i18n issues

This is page is a information regarding internationalisation issues regarding the TemplateAdventures extension.

Citation

The first core feature we are working on is a reimplementing of enwiki's Template:Citation/core. This is of course a bit of programming, but it also has several i18n issues.

You see, a citation core system is divided into sections or segments. These are separated by either commas or full stops (generally speaking).

So each segment should really be of the simple message of "$1$2" (where $1 is the segment and $2 is the separator). However, I am not entirely sure how well this carries into l10n.
