The Enterprise MediaWiki Conference Spring 2020, or EMWCon Spring 2020, was an online-only event held from April 1 to April 3, 2020. It was originally planned to be held in Sandusky, Ohio (see here for what this page used to look like), but due to the coronavirus pandemic was instead a three-day online event (with an additional two-day online hackathon beforehand, for those who could devote a whole week).

EMWCon is a conference featuring discussions of topics related to "Enterprise MediaWiki", i.e. the usage of MediaWiki software by and within companies, non-profits, governments, and other organizations. The intended audience of EMWCon Spring 2020 was anyone who uses, or would like to learn to more about, MediaWiki within organizations.

Create Camp[edit]

The Create Camp was held during the conference. It comprised small groups working together online on projects of interest to them: programming projects, demonstrating best practices, tutorials, documentation efforts - anything related to MediaWiki that the attendees cared to work in small groups. Some projects spanned the entire Create Camp while others were scheduled for shorter time periods such as an hour. A working schedule was created on the conference page during the Create Camp opening session. The Create Camp ended with a closing session where groups reported out on their projects.
