Uniwiki is a project set up by Merrick Schaefer, Mark Johnston, Evan Wheeler and Adam Mckaig to make MediaWiki Usable for Youth in Africa. These extensions have also proven valuable to improve the usability of MediaWiki for other users.

During the Wikimania 2008 Merrick also gave a presentation^[1] about this project.
