Rationale

There is lots of high-quality content out there useful as references for the Wikimedia projects and their article-writing. Unfortunately, a good part of this content is behind paywalled systems that do not allow the general public to access their content.

The idea is to build a system allowing authorized users to use their Wikimedia account credentials to access these third-party reference sites.
