API talk:Rollback

From mediawiki.org

When I try to use this command using curl command, it gives the error Permission Denied, even though I am supplying right username and password. Any suggestions.

The account you are using needs to have the rollback-right, which on most Wikis is not the case for most users. MrBlueSky 23:48, 13 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rolling back images?[edit]

Is there an equivalent API route for reverting images to earlier revisions? I mean the actual images, not the description article. --84.186.188.24 19:18, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rollback Tokens with action=Tokens[edit]

The ApiSandbox shows that a rollback token can be requested by using action=tokens&type=rollback. Unfortunately, this page contains has been translated using Extension:Translate and I'm not sure how to update this page. Can anyone do this for me, or tell me how I should proceed with those tags? Can someone who can rollback update the example response?[edit]

I don't have the "rollback" permission on any wiki, so I can't generate an example rollback response. Could someone update it for me? Thanks.Kenny2wiki (talk) 09:32, 18 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
